What should I do if I receive a suspicious inquiry?

Report it to us & the email inquiry will be closed

If you receive a suspicious message, and/or one that is not about private one-on-one lessons, scroll to the bottom of the email and click the link that says: “If this message looks suspicious, CLICK HERE and we will investigate” to report the message. This will let you notify us about this suspicious message and we won't contact you any more about this inquiry.

Tip: Please do not mark the message as spam through your inbox or your email provider (ie: gmail or hotmail) will block other student questions from getting to you!

Keeping your account info safe and secure is very important to us.

If someone is trying to get you to work with them off the TakeLessons platform or offering you other services, you should decline conducting any business with them, and we ask that you report it to us right away. Unfortunately, the internet has lots of scammers who would love to get a hold of your personal information, and that’s something we work very hard to prevent. Use your best judgment when answering questions from students, and if you think a question is suspicious in any way, report it. We’ll take it from there.
